Superintendency of Affirmative Action and Equity

The Superintendency of Affirmative Action and Equity directs, plans, organizes and oversees affirmative action services, programs and educational and academic activities aimed at promoting anti-racism, combating racial inequalities, genderphobia and violence, and ensuring the rights of people with disabilities at UFSC, guided by the principles of equity and the protection of human rights.

This Superintendency comprises the following units:

  • Support Service for Victims of Violence (SEAVis);
  • Educational Accessibility Coordination Office (CAE);
  • Sexual Diversity and Combating Gender-Based Violence Coordination Office (CDGEN);
  • Rece and Ethnic Relations Coordination Office (COEMA).
